These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the Micauto Usados website, as well as the general conditions for used vehicle sales, trade-ins and credit intermediation services.
1. General information
Micauto Usados is a multi-brand dealership selling used vehicles. Our official contact details are available on the contact page.
2. Website access
Access to this website is free of charge. By using it, you accept these terms in full. If you disagree with any clause, you should refrain from using it.
3. Vehicle information
We make every effort to ensure that information published about each vehicle (make, model, price, specifications and images) is accurate and up to date. However:
- Occasional errors, typos or differences between the images shown and the actual vehicle may occur.
- Prices may change without notice; the price agreed at the time of reservation or purchase remains valid.
- Vehicles are subject to prior sale.
4. Reservations and purchase
A vehicle may be reserved by paying a deposit agreed on a case-by-case basis. The purchase is completed by signing the sales agreement and paying the agreed price in full.
The vehicle is delivered once all agreed payments have been received and the necessary paperwork is complete.
5. Warranty
Under Portuguese Decree-Law no. 84/2021, all used vehicles sold benefit from the statutory warranty applicable to consumer sales. Micauto Usados may, at its discretion, extend that warranty and will inform the customer of the specific terms at the time of sale.
The warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear resulting from everyday vehicle use.
- Damage resulting from accidents, negligence, inadequate maintenance or misuse.
- Modifications or work carried out outside our network of authorised workshops.
6. Finance
Micauto Usados acts as an authorised credit intermediary, presenting customers with finance proposals from partner institutions. Credit agreements are subject to assessment and approval by those institutions.
7. Trade-in
Trade-in valuations provided through the website are preliminary and indicative. The final valuation depends on an in-person inspection of the vehicle at our dealership.
8. Intellectual property
All website content (text, images, brands, logos, code and design) belongs to Micauto Usados or its lawful owners and is protected by applicable law. Reproduction, distribution or use without express permission is prohibited.
9. Limitation of liability
Micauto Usados is not liable for damage arising from:
- Misuse of the website or temporary inability to access it for technical reasons.
- Content on third-party websites linked from our website.
- Information entered incorrectly by users in forms or calculators.
10. Dispute resolution

11. Applicable law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Portuguese law. The courts of the district of Ponta Delgada have jurisdiction over any disputes arising from them.
